Apple’s newest iPad Pro stole the spotlight during Tuesday’s “Let Loose” event. This marks the biggest upgrade for the top-tier tablet since 2022.
Apple’s Senior Vice President, John Ternus, shared, “We’re not just going to make iPad better, we’re going to make it the best.”
The latest iPad Pro stands out from the crowd, partly thanks to its all-new M4 chip. This chip is a big deal because it’s the first time it’s ever been used in a device. It shows Apple is changing its plan for making chips, which was mostly focused on Macs before.
The new chip makes the iPad Pro way faster, up to 50% faster than the previous model. And the graphics, the pictures and stuff you see on the screen, they’re better too, especially for games.
There’s also a super smart part in the new iPad Pro called the neural engine. It’s like the iPad’s brain, and this one is way faster than before, like 60 times faster.
But wait, there’s more! The new iPad Pro has this amazing screen called OLED. It’s super bright, like 1600 lights shining in your face. Apple calls it “Ultra Retina XDR.” And it’s not just bright; it’s super sharp and colorful too. Plus, they’re using this cool tech called nano texture for the first time ever.
You can get the new iPad Pro in two sizes, 11 inches or 13 inches. They’re pretty light, less than 1.5 pounds each.
It’s got some fancy features too. Like a special scanner for measuring things, and a new flashy thing for taking pictures of papers.
Oh, and the camera has moved to the side, like on the new Air. And you can use it with the special pen and keyboard from Apple.
So, how much does all this cost? Well, the smaller one starts at $999, and the bigger one is $1,299. You can order one today, and it’ll come to your door next week.
